FRAGEN IN VERSCHIEDENEN ZEITFORMEN
Bei Fragesätzen steht das Hilfsverb (“am/is/are/does/do/did/had/have/has/will”) vor dem Subjekt. Also sieht die Reihenfolge der Satzglieder bei Fragen wie folgt aus:

1) Present Tense Simple
- Do I/you/we/they write an interesting article?
- Does she/he/it write an interesting article?
2) Present Tense Continuous
- Am I playing with the little dog?
- Is he/she/it playing with the little dog?
- Are we/you/they playing with the little dog?
3) Past Tense Simple

5) Present Perfect Simple
Das Partizip bleibt unverändert (z. B.: eaten, worked). Es wird nur die Reihenfolge des Hilfsverbs (have/has) und des Subjekts verändert:

12) Going to- future
- Am I going to pay a visit to my grandfather next Thursday?
- Is he/she/it going to visit my grandfather next Thursday?
- Are we/you/they going to visit my grandfather next Thursday?
13) Future Continuous
- Will I/you/he/she/it/we/you/they be sitting in the bar when Sarah arrives?
SUBJEKTFRAGEN
Subjektfragen (im Deutschen fragen wir uns “wer oder was”) sind eine Besonderheit. Hierbei existieren nur zwei Fragewörter; “who” und “what”. Wir fragen uns immer nach dem ersten Wort im Aussagesatz – dem Subjekt. Dieses wird in Fragen mit “who” (für Personen) oder mit “what” (für alles andere) ersetzt, der übrige Teil des Satzes bleibt unverändert. Dabei ist zu beachten, dass das Verb hinter dem Fragewort immer in der 3. Person Singular steht (es existieren nicht die Formen “have/are/were”).
- Robert plays the piano. > Who plays the piano?
- Robert played the piano. > Who played the piano?
- They have arrested the criminal. > Who has arrested the criminal?
- Their relationship is none of my business. > What is none of my business?
